Charge more EVs with no utility upgrade.
Paired Power combines solar energy with your existing grid capacity, so you'll be up and charging in weeks, not years -- at a fraction of the cost.
Solving the Grid Bottleneck & EV Charging Problems
EV chargers can overwhelm utility grids. One Level 2 charger consumes the same power as 5 household clothes dryers, and one Level 3 charger consumes the same power as 100 clothes dryers.
Costly Demand Charges
Demand charges can be thousands per month when EV charging exponentially increases your daily power demand.
Parking Lot Disruption
Complex EV charger installation projects can have your parking lot torn up for months during construction.
Downtime & Frustration
Between hardware malfunctions and frustrating user experiences, it's hard to find a fast to deploy, elegant solution to EV charging that lives within the constraints of your existing grid capacity.

Our dashboard
puts you in
complete control.
There’s nothing like it. Through a simple, highly intuitive dashboard, you can see and manage your entire EV charging system. Machine intelligence optimizes your energy flows, drawing from the grid when it’s cheap, leaning on the sun when it’s not.
We’ve also made it easy for drivers. Simply scan a QR code and start charging. And when the time comes for customer service, we offer elevated, white glove driver support.
“We are on a process to consolidate the [EV charging] providers that we have, and I’m happy to say that Paired Power has made that cut… we’re very happy with the Paired Power program.”

Meet the
McCalmonts.
Based in Campbell, California, Paired Power was founded in 2015 by Tom and Aaron McCalmont. The company was born out of the family’s solar engineering firm, McCalmont Engineering, which designs ~8% of the total solar project capacity in the U.S. each year.
Together, Aaron and Tom patented their direct-DC approach to EV charging via solar energy in 2018, and Paired Power has been a leading innovator in the space ever since.
Our patented technology has been recognized by leading energy agencies, and it’s all made here in the U.S.A.
